CLINIC KAKWALE RECEIVES ESTEEMED VISITORS

November 5 - How special it is when the Minister of Health and also the Secretary of State, and all high-ranking district representatives come to Kakwale with great success to visit the clinic and to extensively put our foundation in the limelight. It was a large-scale visit with up to 100 guests.
We received pledges for additional staff, more medicines and plenty of support for the home care project. The donation of the dental rooms, ultrasound machine and all other medical aids were mentioned with gratitude by the minister. We are always allowed to walk into the Ministry and "Hoelp an Malawi" as they say in Malawi was given many beautiful words by 5 high-ranking speakers. The visit took almost 4 hours! At the end we donated 2 motorcycles to the government for the Kakwale clinic and the Kaluluma clinic so that the nurses in the remote areas can visit the home care patients. It was a wonderful milestone in this project journey.
